Stabilizing Afghanistan in an increasingly unstable region
Description
March 1, 2009We celebrated Salon Camden's first anniversary in the company of our dear friends and some of the most talented students of the York University’s Model UN Conference.
Afghanistan's future is an important international and Canadian matter. Since February 2002, 112 brave Canadian sons and daughters have shed their blood in Afghanistan. It was encouraging to interact with extremely knowledgeable participants. We asked many pertinent questions and probed some interesting and varying possibilities. I am sure many of us left the Salon with new ideas and thoughts about our role in Afghanistan and its future. Cheers and thanks for supporting Salon Camden,
